HOW WE TEST

Corrosion Testing
		Control Power's 30 cubic foot salt fog machine meets military and automotive testing standards.
Endurance Testing--Actuators
		Hydraulic actuator assembly at left is shown going through a simulated life cycle endurance test. Actuator hardware is often designed for severe military applications.
Endurance Testing--Hoses & Assemblies
		Hydraulic hoses for military vehicle applications are life-tested at Control Power. Hoses and assemblies are subjected to a series of endurance, vibration, impulse and environmental tests.
Environmental Testing
		Environmental test chambers above offer temperature testing ranges from -90 degrees F to +350 degrees F with 20 to 95% relative humidity. Control Power has the experience and equipment to offer a wide range of programmed temperature, controlled climactic and cyclic testing.
Oil Contamination Analysis
		Oil contamination analysis tests are performed by electronic particle counting. Analysis testing is conducted to provide NAS, SAE and ISO class levels.
Pressure Testing
		Pressure testing to 90,000 PSI.
Transportation Simulation--Rail
		Used to validate containers, racks and dunnage up to 15' long, 9' wide and 12'-9" high,, our rail impact machine can handle payloads up to 12,000 pounds and speeds up to 15 MPH. The rail car can rebound after impact or be totally decelerated. It can also be coupled at impact. Deceleration can be computer controlled from 50 MS (up to 8 MPH) to 400 MS. Acceleration to test speed is controlled to 0.2 g's.
Transportation Simulation--Six Axis Vibration
		Used to validate containers, racks and dunnage up to 12 x 12', our 6 axis vibration table can handle up to 15,000 pounds of payload at 3 g's and 5 to 75 Hz. Specimens can be tested using truck-trailer or rail drive files from our library or we can develop custom drive files to replicate your transportation conditions.
Vibration and Shock Testing
		Combined environmental / vibration testing is performed using a digitally controlled, multi-channel vibration system with a 36 x 36" slip table. Capacity: 4000 pound force sine, 3200 pound force random.
