New functional design
of the CPU Series Universal Hydraulic Accessories Test Machines
makes testing faster and more efficient. Valves and ports are within
easy reach of the operator, and flow and pressure gauges are at
eye level. By simulating actual operating conditions, these CP test
machines accurately measure the operation and performance of hydraulic
components to meet the manufacturer's most rigid specifications.
The CPU Series
is also adaptable for R & D laboratories for testing and calibrating
any hydraulic component. These machines can be furnished for fluid
specifications. Optional equipment is also available to increase
the capabilities and scope of these test machines. Modifications
from standard can be furnished to meet your specific requirements.
All CP test machines are fully guaranteed against defects in material
and workmanship.

FURTHER
DETAILS
|
| COMPACT
CABINET |
Made
of welded steel, it houses all components with allowances for proper
ventilation and accessibility. A full length sump provides adequate
working area and drainage during tests. The instrument panel is functionally
designed and houses ports, controls and gauges. |
| MAIN SYSTEM
POWER PAK |
This
item incorporates a variable volume pressure compensated piston pump
driven by an electric motor. Flow is infinitely variable. |
| OPTIONAL
POWER PAK |
10,000,
20,000 or 30,000 PSI, it utilizes an air-driven pump designed to stall
during static system demands. While stalled, the pump will maintain
its pre-set pressure without the operation of the air motor drive;
therefore, no air consumption is required. |
| HYDRAULIC
CIRCUIT |
A
panel-mounted control permits infintely vairable adjustment of fluid
volumed up to the maximum capacity of the variable volume piston pump.
The fluid is passed through a pressure filter (1 or 3 micron) and
then directed through the main system pressure control valve. A rotary
selector valve is provided for manual 4-way cycling of cylinders and
other items. An additional return circuit with built-in load valve
is also provided through the flow meter. 4.5" diameter pressure
gauges with plus or minus 0.5% accuracy are used. Flow gauge is plus
or minus 5% accuracy. A leakage circuit is included with a measuring
beaker. Return fluid circulates back to reservoir through a continuous
duty oil cooler with a modulation water control valve and a panel-mounted
gauge to monitor temperature. The cooler provided is designed to dissipate
50% of the motor horsepower heat generated. |
